3. Air Conditioning Does Not Blow
Cold When Maximum Cooling Is
Always inspect the harness connectors that are involved in the
Selected
circuit. Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in
an electrical circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are
clean and secure and that all connections are in good condition.
If a problem with a connection is found, correct the problem and
verify that this diagnostic code is Active before performing this
procedure.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
This test is designed to diagnoss one fault at a time. If system
i
has multiple component failures, it may be necessary to perform
this test again after making initial repair.
Tag wiring harnesses to aid installation.
Test Step 1.
1. Turn ignition switch and bat-
tery disconnect switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Connect MSD (WP 0016).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to ON posi-
tion (TM 5-2410-240-10).
Select Machine Control D6K.
N OT E
Wait at least 30 seconds in order for diagnostic codes to become
active.
Diagnostic/Event Codes - Repair
4. Monitor diagnostic codes with
active code (WP 0013).

Perform A/C performance - test
