1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Remove winch from machine (WP
0265).
3. Disconnect winch wiring harness
connector WF-C2 (WP 0018, Fig-
ure 254) from free-spool solenoid
(WP 0018, Figure 257) (WP
0266).
4. Disconnect winch wiring harness
connector WF-C3 (WP 0018, Fig-
ure 255) from drive-away solenoid
(WP 0018, Figure 258) (WP
0266).
5. Disconnect winch wiring harness
connector WF-C5 (WP 0018, Fig-
ure 256) from brake solenoid (WP
0018, Figure 259) (WP 0265).
6. Inspect winch wiring harness for
No Damage Found - Proceed to
