Diesel fuel is combustible and an irritant. Skinand eye protection is required. Ensure work
area is well ventilated.
Keep away from open flame and other ignition sources.
Fuel leaked or spilled onto ho surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.

Allow engine to cool off before performing maintenance on fuel system. Hot metal parts
can cause severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated
parts.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Cap all hose ends and fuel lines.
Tag all hoses to aid installation.
Note routing of fuel hose to aid installation.
49. Remove bolt (Figure 21, Item 11), washer (Figure 21, Item 1), outer clamp (Figure 21, Item 10), middle clamp
(Figure 21, Item 9), and inner clamp (Figure 21, Item 8) from engine (Figure 21, Item 2).
50. Remove inner clamp (Figure 21, Item 8) from fuel hose (Figure 21, Item 3).
51. Lift boot (Figure 21, Item 5), squeeze tab (Figure 21, Item 6), and disconnect fuel hose (Figure 21, Item 7) from
fuel line (Figure 21, Item 4).
52. Remove fuel hose (Figure 21, Item 7) from machine.
