4. Open left rear access door (TM 5-2410-240-10).
5. Loosen two nuts (Figure 6, Item 1) on fuel tank guard (Figure 6, Item 2) on machine (Figure 6, Item 3).

6. Remove two plugs (Figure 7, Item 1) from fuel tank guard (Figure 7, Item 4).
7. Remove two bolts (Figure 7, Item 2) and spacers (Figure 7, Item 3) from fuel tank guard (Figure 7, Item 4) on
machine (Figure 7, Item 5).
