required. This is an informational

The Engine Electronic Control Module
(ECM) monitors the following:
Engine speed is above 2,700
RPM for more than 0.6 seconds.
Event indicates excessive engine
speed. Event does not represent
a fault with engine speed/timing
sensors or engine ECM.
Engine ECM logs event and a
warning will display on the control
panel.
