Tag and mark all cables to aid installation.
3. Remove nut (Figure 21, Item 2) and cable (Figure 21, Item 1) from starter motor solenoid (Figure 21, Item 4).
4. Remove nut (Figure 21, Item 5) and cable (Figure 21, Item 3) from starter motor solenoid (Figure 21, Item 4).
5. Remove nut (Figure 21, Item 8), and cable (Figure 21, Item 10) from starter (Figure 21, Item 6). Set cable
aside.
6. Remove cable (Figure 21, Item 7) and cable (Figure 21, Item 9) from starter (Figure 21, Item 6). Set cables
aside.
7. Remove nut (Figure 21, Item 11) and cable (Figure 21, Item 9) from engine.
