REMOVE ENGINE FROM STAND

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
The engine assembly weighs approximately 3,750 lb (1,700 kg).
1. If installing new engine refer to Engine Transfer Of Parts (WP 0059).
2. Attach lifting device on engine.
3. Remove eight bolts (Figure 33, Item 2), four nuts (Figure 33, Item 3) and engine stand (Figure 33, Item 4) from
engine stand mount (Figure 33, Item 1).
4. Position engine on supports.
5. Remove lifting device from engine.
