Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Transmission weighs approximately 825 lb (375 kg).
6. Attach lifting device on bracket links (Figure 14, Item 2).
7. Using lifting device, position transmission case (Figure 14, Item 1) on machine.
8. Install jack stand under rear of transmission case (Figure 14, Item 1).
9. Remove lifting device from bracket links (Figure 14, Item 2).
10. Remove two bolts (Figure 14, Item 3) and bracket links (Figure 14, Item 2) from transmission case (Figure 14,
Item 1).
11. Remove six bolts (Figure 14, Item 4) and plate from case (Figure 14, Item 1).
12. Install adapter (Figure 14, Item 5) and six bolts (Figure 14, Item 4) on case (Figure 14, Item 1).
13. Install lifting device on adapter (Figure 14, Item 5).
