BLADE PITCH ADJUSTMENT CONTINUED
8. Start engine (TM 5-2410-241-10).
WARN I N G
Keep fingers clear. Do not place your fingers into pin holes in left hand stabilizer bar or
push arm bracket at any time during the adjustment procedure. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
To tilt blade to pitch back position, bade must first be in tilt back position.

Blade can be tilted in three different pitch postions: pitch forward, pitch neutral, and pitch
i
back:
To pitch blade forward, extend tilt cylinder (pull joystick left).
To pitch blade back, retract tilt cylinder (push joystick right).
To regain pitch neutral, extend or retract tilt cylinder accordingly from current
position.
9. Tilt blade according to job requirement.
10. Stop engine (TM 5-2410-241-10).
11. Align left hand stabilizer bar (Figure 1, Item 1) with applicable hole in push arm bracket (Figure 1, Item 5).
12. Install retainer pin (Figure 1, Item 2), pin (Figure 1, Item 4), and new cotter pin (Figure 1, Item 3).
13. Remove blocks.
