BLADE TILT ADJUSTMENT

Blade tilt can lower the left or right side of the blade as viewed from the operator seat. The
blade can be adjusted to provide more or less tilt angle based on job requirements.
1. Start engine (TM 5-2410-241-10).
2. Lower blade to ground (TM 5-2410-241-10).
3. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 1), lock (Figure 1, Item 2), and pin (Figure 1, Item 5) from tilt cylinder
(Figure 1, Item 3) and push arm (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARN I N G
Keep fingers clear. Do not place your fingers into pin holes in tilt cylinder or push arm
bracket at any time during the adjustment procedure. Failure to follow this warning may
result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Blade tilt can be adjusted in two different positions:
To tilt left side of blade down, exend tilt cylinder (pull joystick left).

To tilt right side of blade down, retract tilt cylinder (push joystick right).
4. Tilt blade according to job requirement. Align tilt cylinder (Figure 1, Item 3) with applicable hole in push arm
(Figure 1, Item 4).
5. Install pin (Figure 1, Item 5), lock (Figure 1, Item 2), and two bolts (Figure 1, Item 1) on tilt cylinder (Figure 1,
Item 3) and push arm (Figure 1, Item 4).
