Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Adapter weighs approximately 330 lb (150 kg).
Steps 1 through 5 install one adaptor from machine. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to install
other adaptor.
1. Attach sling and lifting device to winch adapter (Figure 7, Item 4).
2. Using a lifting device, place adapter (Figure 7, Item 4) on machine (Figure 7, Item 1).
3. Install one washer (Figure 7, Item 2) and bolt (Figure 7, Item 3) on machine (Figure 7, Item 1).
4. Install six washers (Figure 7, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 7, Item 3) on machine (Figure 7, Item 1). Tighten seven
bolts to 640 lb-ft (870 Nm).
5. Remove lifting device and sling from right adapter (Figure 7, Item 4).
