Always inspect harness connectors that are involved in circuit. Poor
connections can often be the cause of an electrical circuit problem.
Period
Verify that all connections in circuit are clean, secure, and connections
are in good condition. If a problem with connection is found, correct
problem and verify diagnostic code is active before performing this
procedure.
Tag wiring harnesses to aid installation.
1. Operate machine forward and
reverse (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Do not turn ignition switch and
battery disconnect switch to OFF
position (TM 5-2410-240-10).
2688-08 Code Active - Proceed to
machine control ECM and check
step 4.
No Codes Active - The problem does
not exist at this time. Resume normal
operation.
4. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
5. Disconnect chassis harness right
track speed sensor connector
right track speed sensor (WP
0127).
6. Disconnect chassis harness to
platform harness connector CH-
platform harness to chassis har-
ness connector PL-C18 (WP
(WP 0283), test for continuity
between pin 6 on chassis harness
ness (WP 0153, WP 0154). Ensure all
to platform harness connector
harness connectors are reconnected.
Verify proper operation of machine
pin 3 on chassis harness right
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
