REMOVAL CONTINUED
3. Remove dipstick (Figure 2, Item 4) from oil level guide tube (Figure 2, Item 6).
4. Remove two O-rings (Figure 2, Item 5) from dipstick (Figure 2, Item 4). Discard O-rings.

Note position and orientation of oil level guide tube to aid installation.
5. Remove nut (Figure 2, Item 7), oil level guide tube (Figure 2, Item 6), and bolt (Figure 2, Item 9) from bracket
(Figure 2, Item 8).
6. Loosen fitting (Figure 2, Item 10) and remove oil level guide tube (Figure 2, Item 6) from engine oil pan
(Figure 2, Item 21).
N OT E
Seal may remain on engine oil pan.
7. Remove seal (Figure 2, Item 11) either from end of oil level guide tube (Figure 2, Item 6) or from engine oil pan
(Figure 2, Item 21).

Note length and position of bolt to aid installation.
8. Remove long isolating bolt (Figure 2, Item 15) and bracket (Figure 2, Item 14) from engine oil pan (Figure 2,
Item 21) and position bracket and tube (Figure 2, Item 13) aside. Discard long isolating bolt.
