REMOVAL CONTINUED
C AU T I O N
Engine oil pan may fall from engine block when isolating bolts are removed. Support
engine oil pan before removing isolating bolts.
Isolating bolts must be replaced as complete set to ensure correct clamping of oil pan.
Failure to follow these cautions may result in damage to equipment.
N OT E
Note length and position of bolts to aid installation.
9. Support engine oil pan (Figure 2, Item 21).
10. Remove two short isolating bolts (Figure 2, Item 12) and 27 long isolating bolts (Figure 2, Item 20) retaining
engine oil pan (Figure 2, Item 21) on engine block. Discard isolating bolts.
