8. Install lifting device on hood (Figure 4, Item 1).
9. Remove five bolts (Figure 4, Item 5), seven washers (Figure 4, Item 6), and two nuts (Figure 4, Item 7) from
hood (Figure 4, Item 1) on machine.

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure that any lifting equipment used is in good condition
and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported by lifting equipment.
Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Hood weighs approximately 87 lb (40 kg).
10. Using lifting device and with assistance, remove hood (Figure 4, Item 1) from machine. Lower hood onto flat
surface.
11. Remove lifting device from hood (Figure 4, Item 1).
12. If replacing hood, remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 2), washers (Figure 4, Item 3), and two grabhandles
(Figure 4, Item 4) from hood (Figure 4, Item 1).
