OIL FILTER BASE AND LINES INSTALLATION

Lubricating/hydraulic oils used in the performance of maintenance can be very slippery.
Immediately wipe up any spills.
Wear protective eye covering and gloves.
Failure to follow these warnings ma result in injury to personnel.

1. Install filter base bracket (Figure 7, Item 1), four washers (Figure 7, Item 3), one ground strap (Figure 7, Item 4)
and three bolts (Figure 7, Item 2) on machine.
N OT E
Install fittings and lines as noted during removal.
2. Install filter base (Figure 8, Item 10), four washers (Figure 8, Item 8), one clip (Figure 8, Item 9) and four bolts
(Figure 8, Item 7) on filter base bracket (Figure 8, Item 11).
3. Install two new O-rings (Figure 8, Item 5) on fitting (Figure 8, Item 6).
4. Install fitting (Figure 8, Item 6) on filter base (Figure 8, Item 4).
5. Install two new O-rings (Figure 8, Item 2) on fitting (Figure 8, Item 1).
6. Install fitting (Figure 8, Item 1) on filter base (Figure 8, Item 4). Tighten nut (Figure 8, Item 3).
