Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
This procedure will install one track shoe. Follo the same procedure for additional track
w
shoes.
Track shoe weighs approximately 85 lb (40 kg).
With assistance, install track shoe (Figure 1, Item 3), four nuts (Figure 1, Item 2), and bolts (Figure 1, Item 1) on
machine. Tighten bolts to 250 lb-ft (340 Nm). Tighten bolts additional 120 degrees.
