Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Planetary assembly weighs approximately 300 lb (136 kg).
1. Attach bracket links (Figure 8, Item 3), bolts (Figure 8, Item 2), and lifting device on planetary assembly
(Figure 8, Item 1). Support final drive.
2. Using lifting device, install planetary assembly (Figure 8, Item 1) on final drive (Figure 8, Item 6).
3. Install two washers (Figure 8, Item 5) and bolts (Figure 8, Item 4) on final drive (Figure 8, Item 6).
4. Remove lifting device, bolts (Figure 8, Item 2), and bracket links (Figure 8, Item 3) from planetary assembly
(Figure 8, Item 1).
