Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Final drive weighs approximately 1,875 lb (850 kg).
5. Attach bracket link and lifting device on brake and differential assembly (Figure 9, Item 8).
6. Using lifting device, position final drive (Figure 9, Item 6) on its side.
7. Remove lifting device and bracket link from brake and differential assembly (Figure 9, Item 8).
8. Install lifting bracket (Figure 9, Item 4), washers, (Figure 9, Item 5), bolts (Figure 9, Item 1), washers, (Figure 9,
Item 3), and two nuts (Figure 9, Item 2) on final drive (Figure 9, Item 6).
9. Install three new O-rings (Figure 9, Item 7) on final drive (Figure 9, Item 6).
10. Using lifting device, position final drive (Figure 9, Item 6) on machine.
