Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.

Transmission weighs approximately 825 lb (375 kg).
20. Attach lifting device on adapter (Figure 7, Item 3). Support transmission (Figure 7, Item 2).

Remove a 12-point bolt from each side of transmission case. Install forcing bolts in the
location of removed 12-point bolts.
21. Remove two 12-point bolts (Figure 7, Item 1) from the transmission case (Figure 7, Item 2).
22. Evenly install two forcing bolts 1/2 x 13 (Figure 7, Item 4) on transmission case (Figure 7, Item 2).
23. Using lifting device, support transmission case (Figure 7, Item 2) and evenly install forcing bolts (Figure 7,
Item 4) on transmission case (Figure 7, Item 2).
24. Remove two forcing bolts 1/2 x 13 (Figure 7, Item 4) and install two 12-point bolts (Figure 7, Item 1) on the
transmission case (Figure 7, Item 2).
