MIDDLE BOTTOM GUARDS INSTALLATION

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device is in good condition and of suitable
load capacity. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
There are three middle bottom guards: mid-forward, mid-center, and mid-rearward.
Each middle bottom guard weighs approximately 94 lb (43 kg).
Use the same installation procedure for all middle bottom guards.
Ensure that coolant drain hose is properly sowed prior to installation of bottom guards.

Rear bottom guard must be installed before mid-rearward middle bottom guard.
1. Install suitable support device under middle bottom guard (Figure 6, Item 1).
