FRONT BOTTOM GUARD INSTALLATION

Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device is in good condition and of suitable
load capacity. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Front bottom guard weighs approximately 108 lb (49 kg).
Ensure that coolant drain hose is properlystowed prior to installation of bottom guard.
1. Install suitable support device under front bottom guard (Figure 8, Item 3).
2. Install front bottom guard (Figure 8, Item 3), six washers (Figure 8, Item 5), and bolts (Figure 8, Item 4) on
machine.
3. Install two washers (Figure 8, Item 2) and nuts (Figure 8, Item 1) on front bottom guard (Figure 8, Item 3).
4. Remove support device from front bottom guard (Figure 8, Item 3).
