2. Position two covers (Figure 2, Item 1) aside.

Tag and mark all electrical connections and cables to aid installation.
3. Loosen two nuts (Figure 2, Item 4) and clamps (Figure 2, Item 3) from batteries (Figure 2, Item 5).
4. Remove crossover cable (Figure 2, Item 2) from batteries (Figure 2, Item 5).
