EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

1. Remove two nuts (Figure 8, Item 2), washers (Figure 8, Item 7), plate (Figure 8, Item 8), four washers
(Figure 8, Item 3), two bolts (Figure 8, Item 6), washers (Figure 8, Item 4) and plate (Figure 8, Item 5) from
exhaust pipe (Figure 8, Item 1).

2. Loosen two clamps (Figure 9, Item 2) and remove hose (Figure 9, Item 1) from exhaust pipe (Figure 9, Item 3)
and air cleaner (Figure 9, Item 4).
3. Loosen nut (Figure 9, Item 6) and clamp (Figure 9, Item 5) from pipe (Figure 9, Item 3).
5. Stow exhaust pipe and hose and tie down IAW FM 55-30, Army Motor Transport Unit and Operations.
