ARCTIC KIT HEATER BATTERY BOX REMOVAL CONTINUED
6. Position four covers (Figure 12, Item 2) aside.
N OT E
Tag and mark all cables to aid installation.
7. Loosen four clamp nuts (Figure 12, Item 4) and remove battery cables (Figure 12, Items 3, 5, and 6) from
battery posts.
8. Stow the crossover cable (Figure 12, Item 5) with other loose items to be shipped.

9. Remove two nuts (Figure 12, Item 8), washers (Figure 12, Item 7), and battery hold down assembly with
cables attached (Figure 12, Item 9) from machine while pulling cables (Figure 12, Item 1) out of main battery
box and arctic kit heater battery box. Reinstall two washers and nuts onto battery hold down studs.
