1. Measure the diameter of the screw you are installing.
N OT E
Metric fasteners do not have threads per inch.
2. Count the number of threads per inch or use a pitch gauge.
3. Using Tables 1 - 8 in this work package, look down the left hand column to find the diameter and number of
threads per inch of the screw you are installing.
4. Find the torque value for the grade of screw you are installing.
