Always haul machine if long-distance moving is required. Failure to follow this caution may
result in damage to machine.
N OT E
This machine is equipped with brakes that ae spring applied and hydraulically released. If
r
engine is dead, parking brakes will engage.
Attach tow cable to towing eye on front lower belly guard when towing from the front.
Attach tow cable to tie downs on rear of machine when towing from the rear.

Towing With a Running Engine

If the engine is running, the machine can be towed for only a very short distance and under certain conditions. For
example, towing should be limited to pulling stuck machine out of mud or to moving machine to side of road.
N OT E
The powertrain and the steering system must be operable.
Towing speed is not to exceed 1.2 mph (2 km/h).
Operator is allowed on towed machine onlyif steering and brakes are functioning.
1. Disengage parking brake (WP 0004).
2. Raise attachments off ground (WP 0004).
3. Tow machine as required.

To tow machine with a dead engine, final drive axle shafts must be removed. Notify Field Maintenance.
