Fuel Tank

Water and
Sediment
Drain
DO NOT smoke or permit any open flame in area of
machine while you are servicing fuel system.
Operating personnel must wearfuel-resistant gloves when
handling fuels. If exposed to fuel, promptly wash exposed
skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warnin s may cause injury or death

to personnel or damage to equipment.
With Winch
a. Loosen clamp and remove
drain hose.
b. Remove cover (three bolts/
washers).
c. Reinstall hose and tighten
clamp.
d. Remove fuel tank filler cap
slowly to relieve pressure within
tank.
e. Open drain valve and allow
water and sediment to drain from
hose into suitable container.
f. Close drain valve.
g. Loosen clamp and remove
drain hose.
h. Install cover (three bolts/
washers).
i. Reinstall hose and tighten
clamp.
With Ripper
a. Remove fuel tank filler cap
slowly to relieve pressure within
tank.
b. Open drain valve and allow
water and sediment to drain from
hose into suitable container.
Close drain valve.
