Track Adjuster

The track adjuster adjusts track tension. Maintaining proper track tension prevents accelerated wear on track
components. Track tension adjustments are necessary when various undercarriage components are serviced.
Adding grease through the track adjustment valve increases track tension. Removing grease through the valve
reduces track tension.

Recoil Spring
0009
The recoil spring works in conjunction with the track adjuster to apply tension to the track. It also buffers against
minor debris buildup and shifting machine weight when on uneven surfaces. Maintaining proper track tension
prevents accelerated wear on track components.
