Machine ECM
The machine ECM is located behind the right rear access door
above the batteries. The machine ECM controls the engine
starting system, machine hydraulic systems, A/C system, and
backup alarm operation using programmed memory and
sensor and switch data as described throughout this work
package. The machine ECM communicates with the engine
ECM and equipment ECM by means of the Controller Area
Network (CAN) bus.

Backup Alarm
The backup alarm is located on the right rear of the machine
above the fuel tank. The alarm sounds when the hydrostatic
joystick control is in the REVERSE position. The alarm alerts
personnel that the machine is moving backward.
