Compact Instrument Cluster (CIC) Diagnostic Code Display

To identify a machine's diagnostic codes, enter service mode 0 and observe LCD screen (Figure 3, Item 7). Verify
that the CIC (Figure 3, Item 4) service mode icon (Figure 3, Item 1) is displayed. In the center of the LCD (Figure 3,
Item 7) is the diagnostic code. The first set of digits will be the component identifier (CID) (Figure 3, Item 6),
followed by the failure mode identifier (FMI) (Figure 3, Item 5). Together, these identify the component or system
and the type of fault detected. At the top of the LCD screen is the module identifier (MID) (Figure 3, Item 3)
detecting the fault. To the left of the MID is the active fault icon (Figure 3, Item 2). If the fault is not active, the
segment will be blank.
