Low Oil Pressure
00025
Following conditions will cause low oil pressure:
Dilution of engine oil with fuel, water, orengine coolant will cause premature engine wear.
Incorrect oil specificaton for operating conditions.
i
Restriction of oil suction tube and screen. Oil suction tu e bent or restricted. Cracks or damaged joints allowing
b
air in oil supply to oil pump.
Engine oil filter blocked or restricted.
Piston cooling jets operating incorrectly.
Rotors in oil pump are worn.
Oil pressure relief valve is operating incorrectly.
