6. Install Point Set Indicator.
7. Select Engine ECM from available ECM list on Electronic (MSD) Test Set.
8. Select Service menu on Electronic (MSD) Test Set.
9. Select Calibrations from Service menu on Electronic (MSD) Test Set.
10. Select Engine Cooling Fan Calibration from second menu on Electronic (MSD) Test Set. Follow on-screen
instructions to perform minimum and maximum speed calibration procedures.
N OT E
Calibration for high ambient temperatures may be necessary if cooling system is operating
properly and machine is overheating under normal working conditions. This calibration
allows a few more degrees in cooling range.
11. Perform maximum speed calibration again. This time adjust maximum speed to 2100 RPM.
12. If machine is equipped with A/C and an enclosed rollover protective structure (ROPS), select configuration
screen for engine on Electronic (MSD) Test Set and disable A/C power compensation feature.
13. Remove Point Set Indicator.
14. Close and latch upper radiator grill (Figure 20, Item 1).
