FUEL INJECTION PUMP TUBE INSTALLATION

Install clamps as note during removal.
1. Install four isolators (Figure 6, Item 8), clamps (Figure 6, Item 7), and screws (Figure 6, Item 6) on tube
(Figure 6, Item 4).
C AU T I O N
Wipe area clean around fuel injection tubes. Contamination of fuel system could result in
premature failure.
N OT E
Valve cover not shown for clarity.
Remove caps and install tubes and clamps as noted during removal.
Do not tighten until each nut is installed.
2. Position new tube (Figure 6, Item 4) on machine.
3. Install tube nut (Figure 6, Item 3) on fuel rail (Figure 6, Item 2) finger tight.
4. Install tube nut (Figure 6, Item 1) on fuel injection pump (Figure 6, Item 9) finger tight.
5. Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 5) on tube (Figure 6, Item 4) and machine.
6. Torque tube nut (Figure 6, Item 1) and tube nut (Figure 6, Item 3) to 22 lb-ft (30 Nm).
