Tag wires and wiring harnesses to aid installation.
2. Disconnect wire (Figure 2, Item 4) from water separator (Figure 2, Item 1) and position aside.

Refer to local procedures and plans for storage and disposal of drained fluids.
3. Position drain pan under machine and open drain valve (Figure 2, Item 3) on water separator (Figure 2, Item 1)
until fuel is completely drained.
4. Remove filter assembly (Figure 2, Item 2) from machine.
5. Remove fuel water separator (Figure 2, Item 1) from filter assembly (Figure 2, Item 2).
