Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Pump weighs approximately 158 lb (72 kg).
Install bolts as noted during removal.
5. Attach lifting device to pump (Figure 18, Item 6).
6. Using lifting device, install pump (Figure 18, Item 6) and housing (Figure 18, Item 1) on engine (Figure 18,
Item 2).
7. Install 12 washers (Figure 18, Item 3) and bolts (Figure 18, Item 4) on housing (Figure 18, Item 1).
8. Tighten four bolts (Figure 18, Item 5) on pump (Figure 18, Item 6).
9. Remove lifting device from pump (Figure 18, Item 6).
