Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
The operator platform weighs approximately 1,500 lb (680 kg).
16. Attach lifting device on operator platform (Figure 5, Item 1).
17. Remove bolt (Figure 5, Item 4) and washer (Figure 5, Item 5) from operator platform (Figure 5, Item 1).
18. Using suitable lifting device, remove eight bolts (Figure 5, Item 3), washers (Figure 5, Item 2), and operator
platform (Figure 5, Item 1) from machine and lower to flat surface.
19. Remove lifting device from operator platform (Figure 5, Item 1).
