When replacing accumulator, add the same amount of fresh refrigerant compressor
lubricating oil as drained from old accumulator, plus an additional 1 fl-oz (30 mL) to new
accumulator. However, DO NOT add refrigerant compressor lubricating oil when replacing
compressor and accumulator at the same time.
Install accumulator as noted during removal.
61. Install bracket (Figure 28, Item 1), two washers (Figure 28, Item 9), and bolts (Figure 28, Item 8) on machine.
62. Install clamp (Figure 28, Item 2), spacer (Figure 28, Item 4), accumulator (Figure 28, Item 3), clamp (Figure 28,
Item 5), washer (Figure 28, Item 7), and bolt (Figure 28, Item 6) on bracket (Figure 28, Item 1).
