4. Turn battery disconnect
Arctic Kit Heater Turns On and
switch to ON position
Shuts Down - Replace arctic kit
(TM 5-2410-240-10).Turn
arctic kit heater switch ON
Arctic Kit Heater Fuel Metering
(TM 5-2410-240-10) and
Pump Turns ON - Perform Arctic
verify arctic fuel metering
Kit Heater Fuel Flow Test
pump is activated. Pump
will run when switch is acti-
vated, and arctic kit heater
determines the temperature
is OK for arctic kit heater
operation.
4. ARCTIC KIT HEATER DOES
Test Step 1 - Inspect Fuse.
NOT TURN ON
1. Turn battery disconnect
switch and ignition switch to
OFF position (TM 5-2410-
240-10).
2. Inspect the accessory 15a
Fuse Open - Proceed to Test
fuse (TM 5-2410-240-10).
Step 3.
Fuse OK - Proceed to Test Step 2.
Test Step 2 - Test Arctic Kit
Heater Power, Ground, and
ON Circuit.
1. Disconnect wiring harness
connector AH-C3
(WP 0018, Figure 6) from
arctic kit heater
(WP 0018, Figure 9).
