Fuse Open - Replace arctic kit
NOT TURN ON CONTINUED

Disconnect flood lamp switch
(WP 0018, Figure 60) from AR-C2
(WP 0018, Figure 11).
Connect C-C4 (WP 0018,
Figure 16) on flood lamp switch
(WP 0018, Figure 60).
Then ensure all harness connectors
are reconnected.
Fuse OK - Disconnect flood lamp
switch (WP 0018, Figure 60) from
AR-C2 (WP 0018, Figure 11).
Replace arctic kit heater switch
(WP 0277).
Connect C-C4 (WP 0018,
Figure 16) on flood lamp switch
(WP 0018, Figure 60).
Then ensure all harness connectors
are reconnected.
Test Step 4 - Test Power
Circuit for Open.
1. Turn battery disconnect
switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
2. Disconnect wiring harness
connector HW-C3
(WP 0018, Figure 191)
from wiring harness con-
nector AH-C2 (WP 0018,
Figure 5).
3. Turn battery disconnect
switch to ON position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
4. Using digital multimeter,
Voltage OK - Replace arctic kit
test for voltage between
heater wiring harness (WP 0277).

Then ensure all harness connectors
HW-C3 (WP 0018,
are reconnected.
Figure 191) terminal 1 and
Voltage Not OK - Proceed to
machine ground.

Voltage should be between
18 and 26 volts.
5. Turn battery disconnect
switch to OFF position
(TM 5-2410-240-10).
