The ECM only responds to the direction switch when the signal from the position sensor
for the transmission direction control lever is not correct.
N OT E
N/C and N/O circuits are used for diagnostic purposes. If the N/C and N/O circuits are ever
in the same state, a circuit failure is present and a diagnostic code for the switch is logged.

The push button switch is a SPDT switch with a momentary push button and two circuits. The switch is located on
the dash in the cab of the machine.
