Hydraulic Oil Temperature is
1. Verify hydraulic oil is at correct
1. Hydraulic Oil Level Is Not Correct
Too High
level (TM 5-2410-241-10).
- Add hydraulic oil to proper level
(TM 5-2410-241-10).
2. Hydraulic Oil Level Is OK - Pro-
ceed to step 2.
2. Inspect hydraulic oil cooler core
1. Hydraulic Oil Cooler Core Fins
for bent fins, air flow restrictions,
Bent - Straighten cooler fins or
dirt, or blockage (WP 0042).
replace hydraulic oil cooler core
(WP 0041).
2. Hydraulic Oil Cooler Blocked With
Dirt or Foreign Object - Clean dirt
and remove foreign object.
3. Hydraulic Oil Cooler Core Is OK -
Proceed to step 3.
1. Problem Is Not Resolved -
3. Perform Implement Pump Dis-
Replace implement pump (WP
charge Pressure - Test
0112).
(WP 0033).
2. Implement Pump Cutoff Pres-
sures OK - Resume normal oper-
ation.
Machine Has Low Turning
1. Perform Steering Hydraulic Circuit
1. Steering Hydraulic Circuit Test OK
Force in Both Directions
Pressure - Test (WP 0035).
- Resume normal operation.
2. Steering Hydraulic Circuit Test
NOT OK - Proceed to step 2.
2. Perform Cylinder Cycle Tests.
1. ALL Cylinder Cycle Tests Fail -
Blade Lift (WP 0032)
Replace implement pump (WP
0112).
Blade Tilt (WP 0032)
2. ALL Cylinder Cycle Tests Pass -
Ripper Lift (WP 0032)
Replace the steering motor (WP
Ripper Tilt (WP 0032)
0140).
Machine Has Low Turning
1. Perform Steering Hydraulic Circuit
1. Steering Hydraulic Circuit Test OK
Force in One Direction
Pressure - Test (WP 0035).
- Resume normal operation.
2. Steering Hydraulic Circuit - Test
NOT OK - Proceed to step 2.
2. Check steering control linkage for
1. Steering Control Linkage NOT OK
correct adjustment. Perform
- Replace or repair linkage as
