REMOVAL CONTINUED
1. Attach lifting device on idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 7).
N OT E
Shims may or may not be present due to build variation. Note quantity and position of
shims to aid installation.
Note position and alignment of spring pin to idler shaft and lower cap.
2. Using lifting device and assistance, remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 5), washers (Figure 1, Item 6), two caps
(Figure 1, Item 4), spring pins (Figure 1, Item 3), idler (Figure 1, Item 7), blocks (Figure 1, Item 2), and shims
(Figure 1, Item 1) from machine.
3. Set idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 7) on flat level surface.
4. Remove lifting device from idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 7).
