DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspecions, or maintenance while smoking or near

fire, flames, or sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing damage to equipment and injury or death
to personnel.
Allow engine to cool off before performing maintenance on fuel lines. Hot metal parts can
cause severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated parts.
Wear fuel resistant gloves and eye protecton when handling fuels. If exposed to fuel,

promptly wash exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warningsmay result in injury or death to personnel, or damage to
equipment.

Note position and orientation of fittings to aid in installation.
1. Loosen tube nut (Figure 1, Item 8) and remove hose (Figure 1, Item 2) and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 9) from filter
base (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard O-ring.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 4), washer (Figure 1, Item 3), two retaining straps (Figure 1, Items 6 and 7) from
bracket (Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Remove retaining strap (Figure 1, Item 7) from hose (Figure 1, Item 2).
