DO NOT perform fuel system checks, inspecions, or maintenance while smoking or near

fire, flames, or sparks. Fuel may ignite, causing damage to equipment and injury or death
to personnel.
Allow engine to cool off before performing maintenance on fuel system. Hot metal parts
can cause severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated
parts.
Wear fuel resistant gloves and eye protecton when handling fuels. If exposed to fuel,
i
promptly wash exposed skin and change fuel-soaked clothing.
Failure to follow these warningsmay result in injury or death to personnel, or damage to
equipment.

Install fittings and connections as noted in removal.
13. Install new O-ring (Figure 27, Item 3) on drain valve (Figure 27, Item 4).
14. Install supply hose (Figure 27, Item 1) on drain valve (Figure 27, Item 4), and tighten tube nut (Figure 27,
Item 2).
