Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Transmission weighs approximately 825 lb (375 kg).
1. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 1) and washer (Figure 1, Item 6) from transmission (Figure 1, Item 5).
2. Attach three bracket links (Figure 1, Item 2), washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 1, Item 4), on
transmission (Figure 1, Item 5).
3. Attach lifting device to bracket links (Figure 1, Item 2).
4. Use lifting device to position transmission (Figure 1, Item 5) as shown on flat level surface.
