Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Transmission case weighs approximately 400 lb (180 kg).
1. Remove one bolt (Figure 7, Item 1) and washer (Figure 7, Item 6) from transmission (Figure 7, Item 5).
2. Attach three bracket links (Figure 7, Item 2), washers (Figure 7, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 7, Item 4), on
transmission (Figure 7, Item 5).
3. Attach lifting device on bracket links (Figure 7, Item 2).
