Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Transmission weighs approximately 825 lb (375 kg).
17. Use lifting device to position transmission (Figure 12, Item 5) as shown on flat level surface.
18. Remove lifting device from bracket links (Figure 12, Item 2).
19. Remove three bolts (Figure 12, Item 4), washers (Figure 12, Item 3), and bracket links (Figure 12, Item 2) from
transmission (Figure 12, Item 5).
20. Install washer (Figure 12, Item 6) and bolt (Figure 12, Item 1) on transmission (Figure 12, Item 5).
