Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Radiator guard weighs approximately 3,000 lb (1,361 kg).
37. Attach suitable lifting device to radiator guard.
38. Remove two pins (Figure 11, Item 6) from radiator guard (Figure 11, Item 4).
39. Remove two pins (Figure 11, Item 5) and radiator guard (Figure 11, Item 6) from machine and place on flat
surface.
40. Support radiator guard and remove lifting device.
