WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
ROPS weighs approximately 1000 lb (454 kg).
1. Attach suitable lifting device to ROPS (Figure 3, Item 5).
2. Install ROPS (Figure 3, Item 5) on mountings (Figure 3, Item 4).
3. Install bracket (Figure 3, Item 1), six washers (Figure 3, Item 3), and bolts (Figure 3, Item 2) on ROPS
(Figure 3, Item 5). Tighten bolts to 600 90 lb-ft (900 100 Nm).
4. Position bracket (Figure 3, Item 7), install lower bolt (Figure 3, Item 8) and tighten upper bolt (Figure 3, Item 6).
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for other side of machine (Figure 3, Item 5).
